MILITARY CHAPLAINCY

Supporting the Frontlines

Are you, as a ministry leader, growing?

Ministering in a church setting requires a love for people, and a broad skillset covering all things relationship, discipleship and leadership. You are shaping lives at every level, and will be selcomed into the most intimate of settings. You will see people at their best and worst, working closely with families and your church board to deliver care that fosters an environment for spiritual growth and celebration.

As you invest yourself in the lives of your people, you will tangible impact young and old, and will be forever bound to others. MD will help you develop these skills and shape your ministry in a way that brings out the very best in you and those you serve.

Ministry Mapping -
you & your ministry

Your Ministry Map is designed to help you scaffold the journey of self-leadership, and to help you meet the requirements of your chaplaincy role via your connection with your report on your connection with the Ministerial Association and your colleagues in pastoral employment.

Your Ministry Maps are neatly stored in your portal for future reference.

Personal Accountability

A call to ministry is first a call to walk authentically with Jesus, your family or close friends, and yourself.

MD scaffolds this journey through the help of an Accountability Partner that you choose, and resources to support your walk together.

Satisfy Defence Force Requirements

Record your engagement with other pastoral colleagues and participation in wider denominational initiatives in the approved format which is easily shared with the Force and the Conference.

Suited for part-time chaplains

Ministry Maps are fully integrated across a variety of settings, making your Military Ministry Report well suited to full-time and part-time chaplaincy within the Defence Forces.

REAP - Developing Ministry Skills

MD features the REAP cycle, designed to empower you with insight, resources and tools for development. Create a REVIEW Report, meet with your Conference team for an EVALUATION conversation, build an AUXANO plan of development resources, and record your PROGRESS via your seasonal ministry map.

Drive the Review process from your portal, and receive a summary of your Evaluation conversation at the same time as your Conference admin team. Those being considered for evaluation can also track the status of their progression.

Once moderated by the Ministerial team, receive a copy ahead of your Evaluation, along with a guide to help you get the most from your Evaluation Conversation..

E - Meet for Evaluation

Meet with your Conference Admin and Ministerial team to discuss your ministry and insights around your strengths and challenge areas gained through your Review Report.

What was most affirming? What surprised you? How are you enjoying your ministry on the whole?
