CHURCH LEADERS

Powerful tools at your fingertips!

Are you, as a ministry leader, growing?

You are shaping lives at every level, and will be selcomed into the most intimate of settings. You will see people at their best and worst, working closely with families and your church board to deliver care that fosters an environment for spiritual growth and celebration.

As you invest yourself in the lives of your people, you will tangible impact young and old, and will be forever bound to others. MD will help you develop these skills and shape your ministry in a way that brings out the very best in you and those you serve.

Ministry Mapping -
you & your ministry

Ministry Maps are dynamic leadership tools to help you to clarify, plan and review ministry plans and progress. They help you scaffold the journey of self-leadership, big-picture health and strategy, and Ministry Initiatives at each of your locations.

Work closely with your church board/s to gain clarity around the God-given calling for each church, then start to identify smaller, achievable goals and next steps in a way that is simple and easy to share with your colleagues and Conference support team.

Your Ministry Maps are also stored for future reference, for you and for future leaders to easily continue where you leave off.

Pathways to Ordination & Commissioning

MD provides clear pathways for progression to licensed ministry and on to ordained/ Commissioned Ministry.

There are 3 pathways to Licensed Ministry:

Pathway 1 (P1)

Have completed a recognised theological degree (or equivalent), and are employed in pastoral ministry. P1 consists of 2 stages, of which only one may be repeated.

Pathway 2 (P2)

Are still completing a recognised theological degree (or equivalent), and are employed in pastoral ministry. P2 consists of 3 stages, of which only one may be repeated.

Pathway 3 (P3)

For employees with compelling reasons as to why a theological degree cannot be completed. An Individualised theological plan is created via collaboration across Division, Union, Conference and the individual. P3 consists of 3 stages, of which only one may be repeated.

Licensed Ministry - pathway to Ordination/ Commissioning

MD provides clear expectations and scaffolding in order to meet the necessary requirements for ordination or commissioning. Evaluation takes place each year to support the minister in developing strengths and challenge areas for seamless transition to Ordination/ Commissioning.
